President Ma Min, the Central China Normal University (also COE Visiting Professor of Kansai University) paid a courtesy visit to Chairman and President of Kansai University

On July 22, 2011, President Ma Min, the Central China Normal University (also COE Visiting Professor of Kansai University) paid a courtesy visit to Chairman Uehara Yoin, the Board of Trustees, Kansai University and to President Kusumi Harushige, Kansai University. This courtesy visit was realized by inviting President Ma Min as a COE Visiting Professor of Kansai University. President Ma Min is also the 3rd President of SCIEA (the Society of Cultural Interaction in East Asia) which was established by ICIS and others. On May in this year, the 3rd annual meeting was held at the Central China Normal University, Wuhan, China.

The Central China Normal University is in directly under the Ministry of Education of China, and also selected to National Key Universities of “Project 211”. It has 58 departments, 159 majors in the master course, and 77 majors in the Ph.D. Program. And it has gained a high reputation domestically in the modern history of China, geography, and language education. ※in 2008, an academic exchange agreement was concluded between Kansai University and Central China Normal University

Vice President Ueshima Shinichi (in charge of Research Development / International Affairs), Director Tao Demin of ICIS, and Prof. Shen Guowei also joined in the discussion, and exchanged their opinions about the present situation and future development of the international exchange.
